Virtual Coffee.

Hooray! It's virtual coffee day! It's always fun to meet a friend for coffee, don't ya think?
It's Tuesday today already, can you believe it?? Yesterday went by in a blink of the eye.

Not to mention that it's Valentine's Day! Do you have big plans??
My plans involve taking the big guy for this this afternoon.

Yes, I'll admit, it's probably more for me than him, because he isn't a huge fan of coffee shop coffee-- he's happier when I brew his favorite Starbuck's flavor at home-- but he usually goes along fairly willingly when Caribou offers their buy one- get one deal.

I found a new recipe to cook tonight for dinner. (click here for the recipe)
It looks good. And sounds easy enough. Maybe not the healthiest, but it's Valentine's Day-- healthy eating is off on Valentine's Day, right?! I'll let you know what we think of it......

Other than that, there isn't a whole lot going on with us.

I am going to Iowa with my Mom this weekend. Looking forward to a weekend away and hopefully a bit of shopping.

I am sort of questioning my decision to pile on the extra classes this semester for school. It's a lot more work than I was expecting. BUT the time is going fast-- only 3 1/2 more weeks this semester before I get a two week break. And THEN I only have four classes left.......nice!!!

I still need to get the kids' their Valentine presents. Not sure yet what I'm doing for them, but I imagine I'll figure something out as I roam the aisles of Target!

With that being said, I need to run. Thanks for meeting me for coffee today!

Holy Buckets Of Love!

I had so many extra heart doilies from my put-a-doilie-on-a-mason-jar project, (click here to see that post) that decided to see what other things I could subject to some Valentine decorating goodness. I didn't have to look far. Staring at me right from the kitchen floor (go figure that one!) was an empty IKEA bucket. So some jute, some Hershey's Kisses, three minutes, and one heart doilie later,  I had this. I actually think I like it a little better than the mason jar project......maybe.
