In a last ditch attempt to do something fun before school started, we made rubber band guns. Inexpensive, easy to make and have provided the kids with hours of entertainment.To start, all we did was pick up a package of clothes pins, a bag of rubber bands, some craft paint and a package of pre-cut dowels from Walmart. Next, we painted the dowels and clothes pins. Once the paint was dry we measured where we wanted the clothes pins to go, glued them onto the dowels then let the guns dry for a couple of hours. That's it. Super easy. Makes a ton. Super inexpensive. And has literally provided all three of the kids with endless entertainment.
